This is a real argument starter. There are plenty of four wheel drive vehicles out there nowadays. But how many of them are really off road capable? And which are the most capable? And what, specifically, makes them that way? I'll start a preliminary list of specs here which I'll polish up later on. Feel free to comment, cuss me out, etc.
--Low range gearing
--good breakover and arrival/departure angles
--true (non-viscous coupling) 4wd
--ground clearance
--ability to ford water(?) how deep?
